We have personally seen the devastation that cancer brings to families. The financial burden of treatment should not be a part of this nightmare. Implemented in 2006, the Starr Family Program provides financial support to children and families undergoing treatment at The Children's Cancer Hospital at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in the form of parking vouchers and gas gift cards. While these small tokens do not alleviate the entire cost of treatment, we know that every little bit helps.

It is our goal to expand this program so that we may provide emotional support along with even greater financial support. We dream of one day hosting morale-boosting events at The Children's Cancer Hospital to create a sense of support, acceptance, and genuine concern for the children and families facing this disease. We want them to know that they are not alone and we are their advocates.
